Brandon, FL -

The Brandon '86 Rotary Club hosted its 19th Annual Denizens of the Deep Southern Fish Fry on Saturday November 5th at Rotary's Camp Florida. Blessed by a beautiful fall day, nearly 700 people gathered to enjoy all-you-can-eat fish, shrimp, hush puppies, Uncle Johns Pride sausage, beer, tea, & soda and much more. The crowd raved at the musical skills of multitalented entertainer Reggie Dockens, while the children played on the Camp Florida playground, huge bouncy slide and the two-story bouncy castle.

Brandon '86 Rotary Club board member Ron Shillady coordinated this year's event. "Denizens of the Deep ranks as one of Brandon's largest charitable fundraisers, and provides people in the Brandon community an opportunity to have a great day together spending time with family and friends", said Shillady. Local business sponsors, and volunteers from recipient charities, Armwood and Durant High School Interact Clubs, Boy Scout Troop 1986, and many others pitched in to raise almost $20,000. All money raised at the event is dispersed to local Brandon area charities. For more information, go to www.Brandon86Rotary.com.

Hope we'll see you there in 2012!
